THE CFPB (CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU) SHARES SOME STATISTICS ON CREDIT REPORTING COMPLAINTS. PLEASE SHARE WITH THE GROUP WHAT CREDIT REPORTING ERRORS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED?
From October 22nd, 2013 until June 30th 2013 the CFPB has handled approximately 14,200 credit reporting complaints. The most common type of credit reporting complaint (72% of them) is about incorrect information appearing on the consumer’s credit report, such as information that is not the consumer’s, incorrect account status and incorrect personal information.
